Village Dental far exceeded everything I had hoped for!! Dr Ferrell is an excellent Dentist. My first exam experience was with him and Lana at Pinellas office. Both were professional and caring and made me feel at ease. They did not try to upsale anything. They replaced an old cap that was causing my problem and all went pleasantly easy. The whole staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them!

This might seem a little long, but it summarizes five visits to Village Dental, and I cannot exaggerate my overall satisfaction with the experience. My wife and I, ages 70 and 77, moved to The Villages about one year ago, and it took some time to establish new medical providers; the last of these was Dentistry. My wife read the reviews and writings of many locals and we decided to become patients of Village Dental, and chose the Fieldcrest office on route 466. It was not without some trepidation that we met our first appointment but all concern passed away as we met the staff of professionals at this facility. I was surprised at the comfortable and homey atmosphere of the waiting room (replete with a Keurig coffeemaker, in which I took great delight). Our first visit involved a survey of present dental condition, including individual tooth photographs, individual tooth X-rays, and a three-dimensional X-ray of the entire jaw area. All this survey work was accomplished by a dental assistant who seemed knowledgeable and helpfully explained each operation before it was accomplished. (This keep-the-patient-informed attitude has continued through all visits, and it was really appreciated by both of us; we are retired engineers so the additional information was fascinating). At the completion of this first visit, Doctor Hill, a pleasant, talkative, and energetic young man, met with each of us to help us understand the findings of this dental survey. About a week later, both my wife and I had appointments for cleaning and polishing. The young dental assistant, Joan, who carried out this procedure also fully explained how the cleaning and polishing process worked. Joan also measured and recorded the degree of gum recession around each tooth, as well as checking for unwanted tooth mobility. This was a 6-month cleaning appointment which included new x-rays. X-rays have always been difficult because of my gag reflex. The procedure used this time was new to me and far easier than the method used in the past. Brittany did a great job, was cognizant of my gag issues, and was able to keep them to a bare minimum. She gave me some suggestions as to brushing areas that I seem to have skimped on, and suggested an electric toothbrush rather than a manual one. I have never been comfortable going to the dentist until I started with Village Dental two years ago. I still find myself tensing up during the appointments, but am able to consciously relax and make the experience easier for both me and the people working on me.

My name is Susan and I have been a patient of Dr. Edward Farrell's Village Dental practice for more than seven years. During this time I have had routine cleanings, some fillings and several crowns. The office is comfortably pristine and up-to-date with the latest tools, x-rays and equipment. Most recently I had six upper crowns put on. From the beginning to the end of the procedure I was handled with the utmost care. The staff was professional, caring and friendly. Dr. Farrell and his team helped me through this lengthy procedure with little to no pain! And the outcome is GREAT - now I have a more beautiful smile that gives me more confidence and joy! If you need any dental work of any kind I highly recommend Dr. Farrell and his team. They are the absolute BEST!!!

Dr. Farrell and his team are a dream! Everyone greats you by name with smiles on their faces--EVERY SINGLE TIME. They really get to know you-- they know I'm always cold and they bring me a blanket! The entire staff treats you like you are on a cruise not visiting the dentist. I was having a medical issue and one of them even called me the day I had the procedure to see how I was doing. I can HONESTLY say--I LOVE going to the dentist! I now have an absolutely beautiful smile (I have full mouth Porcelain Crowns from Dr. Farrell and they are perfect-- not one complaint! Thank you to the entire staff for taking care of me!!

I went to Village Dental because a couple of my molars were starting to fracture, and I decided to try their $55 new patient special. Honestly, I didn’t expect much for that price, but it turned out to be way more thorough than I imagined—full and panoramic X-rays, a complete oral exam, even a periodontal evaluation. Saying I’m impressed doesn’t really cover it. Everyone I met was warm, professional, efficient, and genuinely friendly. Heather performed everything in the very thorough new patient special, explaining every step and patiently answering all my (many) questions. She also gave me a clear idea of what to expect with the crowns, and I was relieved they could save my molar instead of pulling it. I got the crowns done that same day. I’ve always been nervous at the dentist, but Heather made me feel at ease, and Dr. Farrell was fantastic — he fixed both molars quickly (less than 20 minutes for both!) and, to my amazement, completely painlessly. At other dentists I usually feel major discomfort from the numbing shots near my upper molars, but this time I didn’t feel a thing. Maybe it was Heather’s careful use of the numbing gel or Dr. Farrell’s injection technique, but either way, it was a totally painless experience. Even the temporary crowns fit perfectly. Heather did such a great job that I honestly forget I’m even wearing them, which has never happened before—I’m usually counting the days until I can get the permanent ones. Village Dental really went above and beyond. I’m officially a patient for life!

Village Dental is the most wonderful Dental Clinic. Dr. Dulgar and her team initially took full records of my mouth, explained everything completely, answered many of my questions and made a heathy restorative plan for me that included collaborating with one of her most talented specialist. Today I saw both Dr. Jaffal’s office for oral surgery (who was amazingly awesome) coordinated with seeing Dr. Dulgar immediately after. Total care. I love that. Dr. Dulgar was gentle and efficient. I was also very pleased with the esthetics of my temporary restoration that she most skillfully installed for me to wear until my next visit. Seeing Dr. Dulgar has been the best dental experience ever so far. Going to the dentist can be stressful but I actually look forward to my next visit with her and completing my new dental health plan she skillfully has prepared. The Village Dental Team were all kind and helpful too. If you want a special caring dentist in The Villages who is very talented, knowledgeable and who really cared about me with all my mouth concerns, no matter how big or small, I strongly recommend Dr. Dulgar and the Village Dental Team.

I recently had an appointment at Village Dental and was absolutely blown away by the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, the office was clean, modern, and the front desk staff, especially Indera, AJ and Ashley were incredibly welcoming and efficient. My hygienist, Kaycee, was exceptionally gentle and thorough during my cleaning. They took the time to explain everything they were doing and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Dr. Farrell is fantastic—knowledgeable, professional, and truly takes a patient-centered approach. They clearly explained my X-rays and treatment options without ever feeling rushed or pressured. If you are looking for a dental office that provides top-tier care in a comfortable and friendly environment, I wholeheartedly recommend Village Dental. This was genuinely the best dental visit I've ever had!

Both my husband and I have been patients for over twenty years. Both the dentists and hygienists are top notch. When I go there, I’m treated like family by highly trained and skilled professionals. Joan is a new hygienist for me although she has been with the practice several years. She spent a lot of time carefully cleaning my teeth and examining the each procedure along the way. In between we had plenty of time to chat about our families. I look forward to the next visit in six months.
